Vin decoder Question for BMW!

Hello ,
Just about to decide between an x6m50d or an x5M both MY18. I have the vin nos but i need a free VIN decoder. I have noticed this problem since Friday. None of the decoders work. Today I tried to free VIN number check to go to this website again and VIN'S which I have previously searched show no problem and absolutely free of service. On the other sites there a message saying 'we are experiencing technical difficulties'. I wonder what's going on, maybe BMW websites have stopped them from allowing use of this facility?
