  • This is such an insightful post, and I think fear of consequences hits the nail on the head for a lot of people. My partner and I went through something similar where small lies started creeping into our relationship—not out of malice, but because we were both scared of rocking the boat. For us, it was about admitting when we felt hurt or misunderstood, and we didn’t realize how much we were bottling up until it started causing distance between us.We decided to try LGBT couples counseling, and it really helped us open up in a safe space without fear of judgment.
