I liked the glue-fixed lace wig at first because it was so natural that it looked almost real. The hairline was so perfectly fitted that even my family thought it was my real hair. But using glue also has its challenges, especially in terms of cleaning and care, which require special attention.
At first, I thought that glue would keep the wig "forever" attached to my scalp, but after a few days, I found that the lace part was a bit hard. This was because I did not clean the glue residue on the wig in time, which caused the hair net part to be damaged. Since then, I have started to learn the correct care methods and use a special cleaner to thoroughly clean it after each use of glue.
In my experience, a wig fixed with glue can generally last two to four weeks. This depends on the quality of the glue, the frequency of wearing, and daily care. If you wear it every day, it may last shorter; if you only use it on special occasions, the life of the wig will be longer.
In order to make the wig last longer, I later tried other fixing methods, such as
glueless wigs. This type of
human hair wig is not only convenient but also reduces the damage of glue to lace. Although its fit is not as perfect as glue fixation, it is easier to care for and more suitable for daily use.
