I write to appreciate the working tour of Anambra State by President Bola Tinubu (Jagaban). For one thing, the visit is symbolic of the father figure status of the President and I appreciate in a large measure his identification with the developmental strides of our State Governor, Prof. Charles Soludo whose infrastructural development of the State has elevated Anambra State to the next level.
In view of the prevailing hardship in the country, I also wish to use this medium,to appeal to the President to, as a matter of extreme urgency, undertake measures that will ameliorate the sufferings of the people in line with his campaign promises and the social contract he signed with the people on the basis of which he was elected into office.
