As the name saying, the human hair half wigs only cover the part of your head, not the entire head. Therefore, your front hairline are expose to the air, which means that your real hairline need to be full and healthy. But you may ask, I have a slight receding hairline, can I wear a half wig? The answer is yes. But if your hairline is seriously receding, in this case, half wigs may not be suitable for you. You need a full wig to cover the hair loss. Here are some ways to determine whether you are suitable for wearing half wigs.

Mild receding hairline (≤1cm): You can try but need to modify

Use broken hair + hairline powder to fill the connection between the wig and the real hair, and use bangs to weaken the boundary.

Choose a light-colored wig to reduce contrast, and trim the layers to enhance the natural feeling.

Moderate to severe receding hairline (>1cm): Not recommended

Expose defects: The sparse hairline is more obvious under the contrast of the dense wig.

Recommended solution:

Headband wig: The headband directly covers the forehead, and the whole head is covered without pressure.

Wear and go glueless wigs: full coverage, put on and then go, ready out of the box.

Alternative solution is better
Headband wig covers with one click, and the style is changeable; medical means (such as hair transplantation) combined with wigs can treat both the symptoms and the root cause.

Summary:

Half wigs rely on the integrity of the original hairline. For those with moderate to severe receding hairline, full coverage is the first choice. Minor problems can be improved through techniques.
