Does Kamala Harris Wear a Wig?

Many people wonder whether US Vice President Kamala Harris wears a wig. Honestly, I used to often fixate on her hairstyle. Her hair is always perfectly neat and shiny, rarely ever out of place, whether in public speeches or in news photos.

As someone who wears wigs for a long time, I even wondered if she used a wig to maintain this "always-on" look.
This thought first occurred to me when I saw her hairstyle during a live event. It looked incredibly smooth, with natural curls. I happened to be wearing an burmese curly wig at the time, and I couldn't help but compare it to hers. Although my wig is naturally sleek, I could still see subtle differences compared to her hair. Later, I looked more closely at her photos and realized that her roots and strands resembled her natural hair, especially in strong winds, when her hair would flow in the breeze. This detail is actually very difficult to replicate with a wig.

From my experience, if she does wear a wig, it's definitely a high-end custom-made one, specifically designed to protect her hair. But it's more likely that she truly puts a lot of thought into her hair care. Since I started wearing glueless wigs, I've become more attentive to hair care, as I don't wear a wig all the time; sometimes I need to show my natural hair. I imagine Kamala Harris is the same way; the reason her hair stays so well-maintained is probably due to the professional care team and consistent maintenance.

So, does Kamala Harris wear a wig? As someone who regularly wears wigs, my instinct is that most of the time, her hair is probably natural, but it's not ruled out that she might use a hairpiece or a wig to add volume or stabilize her look for formal occasions. Whether real or fake, she exudes the confidence and poise of a professional woman, and this is my most profound experience wearing wigs: wigs aren't about concealing, but about providing a more relaxed and confident look.
