I've always been curious about drawstring wigs. I used to wear wigs that required clips or glue to secure them, and sometimes, after wearing them for a while, they felt tight and even slightly tugged on my scalp.
It wasn't until I took a drawstring wig on a trip that I truly appreciated its convenience. Drawstring wigs are incredibly simple: like a small pouch, you hold your hair inside and then tighten the drawstring to secure it. I remember putting it on in less than two minutes in my hotel room that day, and it looked perfectly natural in a high ponytail or a bun.
Compared to traditional glue-on
lace front wigs, drawstring wigs offer zero worry about residue. I used to wear lace wigs, and every time I took them off, I had to clean the glue, which was a hassle and damaged my hair. Drawstring wigs, on the other hand, simply tighten them, making them secure and gentle on my scalp. They're a must-have for those who are lazy.
However,
drawstring wigs do require a certain amount of hair volume. If you have very little hair, the wig might not be securely fastened. Overall, however, they're lighter than traditional glue-on wigs, making them particularly suitable for sports, travel, or even on the go. I usually keep one in my bag at all times, ready to wear whenever I need it.
