As a wig enthusiast, I've tried lace wigs,
half wigs, and v-part wigs. Honestly, if you're just getting started, I highly recommend a v-part wig.
The first time I tried on a
v part wig, I was amazed by how natural it looked. The V-shaped opening in the middle allows you to pull a small section of your own hair over the wig, creating the illusion of a natural parting. No glue is needed, and it looks instantly natural. The whole process is much easier than a lace wig.
V-part wigs are also very breathable, so they don't feel stuffy on your scalp. Especially in the summer, they're much more comfortable than full-length wigs.
However, I must warn you: if you have hair loss or thin hair, a v-part wig may not be suitable. Because you need to use your own hair as a transition, it's difficult to achieve a natural look without sufficient hair. For example, a friend of mine with thinning hair tried a v-part wig and decided it wasn't right for her. Later, she opted for a full-length wig, which actually worked much better.
So, if you're a beginner with healthy, thick hair, a v-part wig is a great starting point. It's natural, convenient, and quick to get started, without any technical difficulties.
