Black Friday Wig Recommendations: My Personal Experience

Every year on Black Friday, what I look forward to most isn't buying clothes or bags, but wigs. Many brands offer double discounts, making the prices attractive and the styles most complete. This year, I especially want to share three wigs that I've personally tried and that are currently the most popular among Black women: Half Wig, Color Wig, and 360 Glueless Wig.

1. Half Wig: My Favorite "Lazy Person's Must-Have" This Year

If you're like me, rushing to work in the morning and don't want to spend too much time styling your hair, then Half Wig will definitely make you fall in love. It's even more convenient than I imagined. No glue, no lace trimming, just secure the clips, fix the front, and you're ready to go.

The first one I wore was the Kinky Curly Half Wig. The natural curls blended perfectly with my own 4B hair texture; people thought it was my real hair. It's lightweight and breathable, so I don't feel stuffy wearing it all day. I later bought a Body Wave Half Wig, which looks great with half-bun or low ponytail hairstyles.

I've already added it to my Black Friday shopping cart this year because CurlyMe usually has extra discounts during Black Friday sales, making it much cheaper than usual. Buying a few to rotate won't break the bank.

2. Color Wig: Occasionally Want to Be "Brighter"

Although I usually prefer natural black curly hair, sometimes I want to be a little "brighter." Especially during the holiday season, birthday parties, or travel photoshoots, a colored wig can really change my entire look.

Last year, I bought a Reddish Brown Wig, and the first time I wore it, my friends said I "looked radiant." Later, I tried Burgundy and Honey Blonde, and these colors look amazing on Black women's skin tones, making them look radiant without heavy makeup.

If you haven't tried a colored wig yet, I highly recommend taking advantage of Black Friday, as the discounts are the biggest then, some even down to half the original price. After all, there are a few days each year when you want to look a little special.

3. 360 Glueless Wig: The Perfect Choice for Special Styles

The last one I want to recommend is the 360 Glueless Wig. Honestly, I only wear this when preparing for holiday parties or events. It allows me to create various hairstyles—high ponytails, buns, side-parted curls—all easily, and it requires absolutely no glue, is breathable, and secure.

I first tried this type of wig for a wedding, wanting a clean and neat updo. It truly saved the day! Not only was it so natural that no one could tell it was a wig, but it also didn't feel tight or itchy on my scalp. Later, I discovered that this wig is perfect for occasions requiring a change of style; it's the kind that "reliable in crucial moments."
