This is what I learned after truly understanding how to make informed decisions.
After trying several different configurations, I finally realized that agonizing over "how many bundles to buy" wasn't really about the quantity itself, but rather about not being clear enough about what I wanted. Before, I always asked others for advice, applying their standards to myself, and the result was that I never felt confident in my choices.
Later, I started by asking myself a question: When people see my hair, do I want them to think it looks "natural" or that I have "great volume"? The number of
weave bundles needed is different depending on the answer. Combining this with length and texture, the choice becomes much clearer.
I also gradually discovered that curly and kinky textures require more hair than
straight hair, and once the length exceeds 20 inches, it's difficult to reduce the number of bundles needed. Often, it's not that you want to buy more, but that the style itself requires more support.
Now, I rarely struggle with this question anymore. It's not because I've memorized a fixed formula, but because I know what kind of effect I want. That sense of certainty is far more important than whether it's three bundles or four.
Looking back, these experiences were all gained through trial and error, and spending real money. But it's precisely because I've made these mistakes that I understand that choosing what suits me is always more reliable than simply following what "everyone else is buying."
