16 inches was the length I first felt truly "comfortable wearing."
At the time, I only had one thought: not too long, not too exaggerated, just something that looks natural.
Later, I compared it to things around me and found that 16 inches is very close to the height of an A4 folder. When worn, it usually falls below the collarbone, near the chest – a very everyday area.
In terms of wearing experience, the biggest characteristic of 16 inch
wig is: ease. You don't have to worry about the wind, your backpack pressing on it, or it bunching up on your legs when you sit down. It hardly affects any of your movements, which is why I relied on this length so much initially.
However, as I tried longer lengths, I slowly realized the limitations of 16 inches. It's safe, but visually, it's more "clean" than "stunning." If it's curly hair, it will be even shorter after bouncing back, looking more like natural medium-length hair.
Looking back now, I would define
16 inch hair as: suitable for those just starting out, or those who only want a subtle change. It won't steal your style, but gently complement it.
If I were to describe it with an object: 16 inches ≈ the height of a 1.5L bottle of mineral water. Familiar, stable, and requires no adjustment period.
