When I first bought 20-inch long hair, I had no idea how many bundles to buy. Previously, for short or medium-length hair, three or four bundles were enough, but 20 inches is much longer, and the weight and thickness increase significantly. I wanted a full-head thickening effect, so I consulted some advice and finally chose five bundles. After installation, the effect was even more natural than I expected, with sufficient volume and beautiful curls, without any sparse feeling. Actually, the number of bundles of 20-inch hair you need mainly depends on the desired effect. If you only want to slightly thicken your hair or add a few strands, three bundles might be enough; but if you want big curls or full head thickening, at least five bundles are safer. I later tried four bundles myself, and it worked, but the long hair looked a bit thin, especially when curled, lacking sufficient volume at the top and ends. So I recommend reserving an extra bundle for 20-inch long hair to ensure the desired styling effect.
Additionally, I discovered a little trick: adjust the number of
hair weave bundles according to the hairstyle. For straight or slightly wavy hair, four to five bundles are enough; for big curls or waves, five or even six bundles are better. After trying it a few times, I can easily determine the number of bundles needed for different lengths and curl types, avoiding the trouble of buying too much or too little. In summary, for long hair
buss down wig, three bundles provide basic coverage, four bundles give a medium effect, five bundles are the safest, and for maximum volume, you can even use six bundles. This experience has been very helpful for my own styling and hair purchases, and it also prevented the panic I felt the first time I used long hair extensions.
