BREAKING NEWS
#NLPtestimonies Tops X Trend Chart as Viral Testimonies Flood Social Media

Editor: Sam-Atwirene
Location: Lagos, West Africa

LAGOS — The hashtag #NLPtestimonies surged to the top of the trending algorithm on the social media platform X late Tuesday, as thousands of users shared personal experiences connected to the rapidly growing Next Level Prayer (NLP) movement led by Pastor Bolaji Idowu.

The sudden spike in online engagement has turned the hashtag into one of the most discussed topics across Nigerian social media, with users posting testimonies, reactions, and commentary in the buildup to the much-anticipated NLP gathering scheduled for March 13 at Tafawa Balewa Square.

Digital analysts say the trend appears largely organic, fueled by user-generated testimonies circulating across multiple platforms including Instagram, TikTok, and WhatsApp before spilling over into X.

Among the voices contributing to the online conversation is user @Nengi_Sharon, who wrote:

> “I’ve been seeing these #NLPtestimonies lately… be like say me too go join. The testimonies are not only mind-blowing, they’re many.”

Another user, @Samuel_Xfire, expressed initial skepticism but later acknowledged the scale of the viral momentum:

> “Initially I thought these testimonies were sponsored, but how can someone sponsor these massive testimonies everywhere? Like where church get that kind money? This looks like the new move of God with Pastor Bolaji.”

The viral wave comes just days before the Next Level Prayer Conference, a large-scale worship and prayer gathering expected to attract thousands of attendees in Lagos and millions more online.

Social media experts note that faith-based digital movements are increasingly capable of generating large-scale online engagement, particularly when fueled by personal storytelling and community participation.

With the #NLPtestimonies hashtag continuing to climb engagement charts, attention is now turning to the March 13 event at Tafawa Balewa Square, which organizers say will focus on worship, prayer, and testimonies of faith.

As anticipation builds, observers say the ongoing digital momentum could position the gathering as one of the most talked-about faith events in Nigeria this year.
