I’ve been trying to improve the acoustics in a small workspace where I record audio and take online calls. Someone suggested installing
sound dampening sheets on the walls to reduce echo and improve sound clarity.
From what I understand, they’re designed to absorb sound waves rather than completely block noise, which sounds useful for rooms with lots of hard surfaces.
Has anyone here used sound dampening sheets in a home studio, office, or gaming room? I’d be interested to hear whether they actually make a noticeable difference in sound quality.
