I've been using
toongod for a while now to catch up on manhwa that aren't officially translated in my country, and the library genuinely amazes me. New chapters appear crazy fast, and the vertical scroll reader works like a dream on my phone. But my "saved for later" system is a complete disaster — just a folder of bookmarks that's getting out of hand.
A few things I've learned that might help newbies:
Dark mode is a must for late-night binges. Easier on the eyes than the official apps.
Use a strong ad‑blocker. I run uBlock Origin, and I've never seen a pop-up. Without it, though, it's a different story.
Never, ever download anything the site prompts you to. Stream only.
Now, for the veterans: how do you manage your reading lists? Do you rely on the site's internal history (and does it keep stable over time?), or do you use an external tracking app? I've tried keeping a note on my phone but it's slow. I wish there was a simple "mark as read" sync across devices without needing an account.
Also, slightly heavier topic: how do you balance free reading here with supporting creators? I buy chapters on Webtoon and Tappytoon for the series I really love, but I feel a bit guilty when I binge-read 50 chapters on toongod first. I guess I treat it as a discovery engine. Curious to hear your personal ethics.
