Omokri condemns silence of Christian leaders over killings of Shiites

Author and Christian TV host, Reno Omokri, has condemned the silence of christian leaders over the killing of members of the Shiites Muslim sect by the Nigerian army.

Pastor Omokri noted that ‘if you are quiet when Shiites are killed because you are not a Shiite, don’t be surprised when others are quiet when your brother is killed’.

“As a Christian, the greatest shame that I feel is the silence of Christian leaders over the killings of Shiites. Would Christ be silent!”

“If you are quiet when Shiites are killed because you are not a Shiite, don’t be surprised when others are quiet when your brother is killed!,” he posted on his Twitter handle, @renoomokri



“@GEJ_Official was stoned by youths, not one youth was killed in retaliation. Human life is sacrosanct. If others can be killed, you can too!,” added the former aide of Goodluck Jonathan.

Nice one Reno. But it started in Onitsha when a group clamouring for their right for self determination were summarily murdered.
I condemn the seeming blood thirst among our armed forces, but it's not be selective about it.
