1. He started a website hosting service that failed within 3 months of startup leaving him with just a single customer which forced him to close the service.
   
2. He previously created three forums for IT discussions, university/higher institution students, and emerging GSM technology in Nigeria.
   
3. He was barely 23 years of old when he started the website hosting service and created the forum websites.
   
4. He consolidated the three forum sites after two years and founded Nairaland.
   
5. Nairaland forum has over 1.5 million members.
   
6. Nairaland is not a blog website but a forum website.
   
7. Nairaland has been the 8th most visited websites in Nigeria.
   
8. He was enrolled in Electrical Engineering degree program at Obafemi Awolowo University before he dropped out of school to pursue his dream of building Nairaland.
