Before my first Miracle Knots appointment, I assumed it would take about two hours. I was very wrong.I arrived at the salon in the morning and didn't leave until late afternoon. Between braiding my natural hair, creating the knot foundation, and installing the hair, the entire process took nearly five hours.Since then, I've had the style done several times, and the timing has been pretty consistent:
Short styles: 3–4 hours
Medium-length styles: 4–5 hours
Long, full styles: 5–7 hours
The stylist's experience makes a huge difference. My second appointment was much faster because the stylist specialized in
Miracle Knots Hair and worked very efficiently. Hair texture can also affect the install time. Tighter textures like kinky curly often require more attention during installation and blending. One thing I always do now is bring snacks, water, and headphones. A Miracle Knots appointment isn't something I try to squeeze into a busy afternoon anymore. Most Miracle Knots installs take between 4 and 6 hours. The exact time depends on hair length, fullness, and your stylist's technique, so it's worth setting aside most of the day.
