Her fans as expected immediately started showering her with prayers of safe delivery for the 40-year-old actress.

Recall that Funke got married to Abdul Rasheed Bello popularly known as JJC Skills in a private wedding held in London, May 2016 four years after her first marriage with Adeola Kehinde Oloyede crashed.

Few weeks after the secret wedding, she took to her Facebook page to reach out to her fans asking them to pray for to give birth this year.

She wrote, “I’m not shy to say this. Please don’t ignore. You all know, I, Funke Akindele, Jenifa, has been married for a while now without any issue. Some have even laughed at me, insulted me, judged me, without knowing the pains I go through. I put every effort in entertaining my fans and Nigerians at large, I made you laugh and some would even say I’ve inspired them in one way or the order.


Funke Akindele Bello came to limelight after she featured in a 1998 to 2002 sitcom I Need To Know where she played the role of Bisi, an intelligent secondary school student.

She later took over people’s heart with her 2009 movie titled Jenifa.
