The president of Gabon Ali Bongo Ondimda announced the appointment of a the new Prime Minister who is Madame Rose Christiane Ossouka Raponda. She has achieved the feat of becoming the country’s first female Prime Minister.
The new Prime Minister will be replacing Julien Nkoghe Bekale.
She is no stranger to a leadership position, as she has previously served as the mayor of the capital Libreville in 2014. And she was also the first female to occupy the position.
