Bandits abduct 4 Chinese nationals in Cross River state

Four Chinese nationals have been reportedly kidnapped by unidentified gunmen in Cross River state. The men, Hujinchang, Jiang Jijun, Cheng Qing and Kan Jinxi were all kidnapped from their work premises Danatrite Construction Company located Oban, in the Akamkpa Local Government Area of the state.
Eye witness information account given said the gunmen invaded the premises and killed a policeman during the process.
The Cross River state Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Irene Ugbo confirmed the incident on Wednesday.
“The Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Operations has mobilised policemen to Oban. They are going to comb that area and I hope by the end of the day, I will know how far they went and how the victims were kidnapped.”
